Our Story
My name is Monica. I am a Jesus-follower, a wife, a mom, a homeschooler, a kick-ass tennis player, an event planner and a pretty good cook. Jeff is my husband and he is a sales rep, a fly-fisherman, a hunter and a corvette enthusiast. Jeff and I met when I started working at the same company where Jeff had been working since he was 18. He started in customer service and by the time he was 35 he was the Western Regional Sales Manager. I was hired to do inside sales and would participate in the quarterly sales meetings that Jeff flew in from Dallas to attend. I chased him around the office during the next few meetings and eventually landed the confirmed bachelor. Jeff married me 18 months later (April, 2002) and adopted my son Frank. We had Lucy Pearl in 2003 and Ivy in 2006. Fast forward 18 years - Frank is 24 and living on his own, Lucy Pearl is a highschool senior and Ivy is a freshman. After decades of pursuing the American Dream, COVID-19 has forced us to reevaluate what is important. We are selling out and Dowdsizing our stuff so that we can maximize our lives.
